Condo Hotel

Compiegne, France
If the romanticism of owning a piece of French history has appeal, then The Chateau du Francport is for you. This historical property set in the forest on the banks of the river Ainse was built in the late-18th century by The Marquis de L’Aigle.
Famed for its superb hunting, it became a regular favorite of Napoleon III who used The Chateau as his hunting lodge. It also achieved fame as the location of the signing of The Armistice in 1918 and once again in 1940 with the fall of France.
Since then, The Chateau, considered a national monument, has been expanded, restored, refurbished and thoroughly modernized. Yet the setting is as magnificent and grand as the day The Chateau was built.
With a half-mile driveway winding through its 27 picturesque acres, The Chateau will soon become a four-star boutique condo hotel. It will have just 74 suites, each one sold freehold together with a proportionate share of the whole of the Chateau and grounds.
Among the amenities and services The Chateau will offer are:
- 9-hole private golf course
- Fully equipped fitness center
- Indoor heated swimming pool
- Full-service spa
- Sauna & Turkish bath
- French-style restaurant
- Bar facilities
- Conference & private party facilities
- Room service
- Concierge
The Chateau is located just a few minutes from the charming center of Compiegne, 30 minutes from the Charles de Gaulle International Airport, and only 45 minutes from Paris.

Several different types of suites are available ranging in size from 173 to 476 square feet. Prices range from approximately $205,438 to $376,138. Construction work on The Chateau
was completed in April 2010.
