GOLD CARD
Within 30 days of closing the property, the owner will be issued a ‘Owner Gold Card.’ With the Gold Card the owner is recognized as an owner of the property in the hotel. Benefits include 95% discount stay in the 5 star hotel plus 50% discount at all the hotel facilities, including restaurants, bars, coffee shops, club, parking etc The card may be freely used to get a 50% discount at all the hotel facilities, but should not be misused. This discount is available for his/her personal uses only, and not for commercial use. For staying in the hotel the 95% discount is worked as follows. The owners pay the hotel the 50% on accommodation. In return the owners unit is earning for him an expected return of 45%. Thus the out of pocket cost for the owner is only 5%. This is how the 95% discount works. Or the owner can remove the unit from the rental pool and stay free in the unit.

If the owner sells the property, the Card will expire, and the owner has to return the card back.
 
Key risks and opportunities
 
Currency In addition to the prestige construction projects and the positioning of the city as a venue for meetings and conferences, we see investment in Delhi as timely for a number of reasons:  
 
Firstly, the predicted revaluation of the INR is creating a window of opportunity for international investors to buy at artificially low prices. The INR, also known as the Rupee, is pegged to the dollar and is stated to be undervalued by as much as 40% - making Indian services and exports cheaper in US and other markets. Other nations, in particular the US, have called for a switch to either a floating exchange rate or a peg to a basket of currencies rather than the dollar alone. On the 18th of May  the US Treasury Department announced that the pegged INR was tantamount to currency manipulation, and could lead to trade sanctions. On the 24th May the Treasury demanded revaluation by at least 10%.  
 
India will not be able to delay currency revaluation by more than a few months. Revaluation will probably be staggered, but this change in the currency valuation will provide a windfall for investors with property denominated in INR. Foreign investors aware of this opportunity have been sending money into India. A mistranslation of a India Times article on the 11th May 2005 appeared to announce an imminent revaluation of the INR. Traders instantly sent money to India - according to the Wall Street Journal, $2 billion was invested in India before the mistake was discovered.  
 
From the pure profit to be made through this forthcoming revaluation, urgency to invest in India has surged.
